About Me

My Story

I was born in Siirt, in 1978. I am married with three kids.

In 1997, I got into Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty (Çapa) as the top scoring student of the Siirt city in the Student Selection Examination (ÖSS). After six years of medical training, I graduated in 2003.

In 2005, after taking the examination for specialty in medicine (TUS), I won the position of surgical resident at Haseki Training and Research Hospital and I worked there for three months. The same year, I took the examination for specialty in medicine (TUS) again, and won the position of ophthalmologist at the Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital.

After five years of residency, I earned the title of specialist in Eye Diseases in 2010. In 2020, I earned the title of associate professor.

From 2010 up until 2020, I worked actively at Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital. I worked at Surp Pırgiç Armenian Hospital between August 2020 and October 2021. As of November 2021, I opened my clinic at Lotus Nişantaşı. I have also been giving lectures at Biruni University Medical Faculty at the department of Eye Diseases since 2021 fall semester.

I specialize in Periocular Cosmetic Surgery, Oculoplastic Surgery, Orbital Diseases and Surgery.

I have participated in tens of national and international conferences and have written more than one hundred written presentations and articles.
